Hey guys!

Is my Lignum Vitae (Guaiacum sanctum) planted to high? Should I replant aiming for the red line? its a small 3 gallon plant.

Since the area in question has formed woody tissue,  I myself wouldn't cover it.

You could throw a ring of larger rock ( something like oolite chunks ) around it to keep the base covered but also allow it to breathe and stay dry though. 

Super tough plant, even here in the desert ( have grown one in a pot for 11 years. )
