It has been confirmed that CFPACS will have a booth at this event.  Please stop by and enjoy the celebration after two years in operation.  In years past, it was standard practice that CFPACS members get in free of charge if they wear their shirt.  We can confirm and update this post, either way.  Our West VP is the start of the show at 9:30AM for the fertilizer talk.  If you're a member planning on hanging out for a while, bring a chair and hang out at our booth if your legs get tired.

Just confirmed with Dr. Rossi that there is Free Admission with a CFPACS Shirt.  If you don't have one, let me know and I can come to the front and get you when you arrive.

Good question.  They have Shivering Palms Nursery onsite and Dr. Rossi definitely knows were to get unusual stuff, so can't say yes or no just yet.  Was there a particular species you were targeting?

Yeah I was over there and one of the staff said there would be a new shipment

If anyone is concerned about not being able to get in because they don't have a shirt, I can meet you at the entrance and bring you back to the booth.  If you need my number to contact me when you get there, please send a PM. 

 

Weather-wise, plan on bringing a jacket in the morning if you are not cold-hardy below 50F 🥶 

The predicted overnight low of 46F overnight from Friday going into Saturday is going to feel a bit brisk, but it will get into the low 70s pretty quickly Saturday afternoon.  CFPACS does have long sleeve t-shirts in most sizes.

Getting Started: These photos showcase the entrance to the gardens just before the event started.

Table Setup: We got our table setup just in time to start selling shirts before the Fertilizer Presentation started.

Shivering Palms Nursery: The nursery onsite had a large variety of palms, cycads, and other plants available for sale.

Fertilizer Presentation: The presentation setup was finished quickly and kept everyone who attended interested through the end, with more questions after the presentation concluded.

Animal Show: Nothing like handling snakes to keep everyone on their toes.
