Sabine received this bouquet of flowers from her boss Nina today.

The red flower is said to be something special.

But neither of the two women knows what kind of flower it is.

Of course, neither do I 🤔

Thanks for sharing. I wish I had all the palm trees in the world, but there are so many. And it's best to have the most important ones. I've already maxed out my credit card a bit. My bank account is a little empty. I need to get back on my feet. I have a lot of pending orders, and an important one from RPS Germany, from Lauri, Tobias's wife. Take care of your bank accounts, my friend.

It looks a Banksia spp flower, as do the serrated leaves, however that colour doesn’t look natural, has it been dyed perhaps?

That's a very good point, Jonathan. Neither Sabine nor I had thought of that.

Sabine's boss sometimes buys special things and also loves flowers.
Since she likes special things, I could well imagine that, in terms of color...

Thank you very much, Jonathan, for the identification and the information. Yes, that must be it; everything fits.

Yes, my friend Hugo. I agree with you. We also have to be very, very careful with our finances and budget accordingly.
On the other hand, there is the joy of exotic plants, which bring everyone such richness, or at least life, ambiance, a feeling of vacation, freedom, infinity, good air, and great joy.
Like me, Sabine prefers to bring home all the plants she likes, so to speak.
I am infinitely grateful that she is so good at negotiating and does so every time, so that in the end it does cost money, but much less.
She also does it very charmingly, with charm and intuition, so that no one is bothered by it, whether man or woman.

We hope that everything works out well for you with regard to the orders and that everything falls into place so that it is more harmonious for you.
Yes, it all takes a lot of patience and composure ...

I think with this last order I'll have a large supply of seeds. It's a shame I'll have to work harder to buy them later. This is because on October 31st, all purchases entering Chile will be subject to VAT. This means stricter inspections, and everyone will be asked for a receipt.
