Hello,

I was wondering if anyone had any insight on this curly pony tail palm and if this is normal or indicative of an issue with the plant. It is one in a row of about 6 and all the others have straight leaves. The first two photos show the "normal" palms and the last photo shows the curly, almost droopy other palm. I am in the Caribbean in a drier area but we did just have significant rainfall.

Thanks in advance for any info!

@michrobb

Welcome to the forum..

Something definitely looks odd  to my eye..

If able to, ( safely, lol )  you might take a look at the tops of the crowns ...just to see if there might be some sort of rot occurring.

If not,  ...and the leaves up there are holding tightly to the branch / stem, ..Maybe the change in weather has something to do w/ what you're seeing    ..Though honestly, i'd expect the " weepy " crowns to look more like the first than how they're looking after a good, deep soaking.
