Never give up on trachy princeps seeds? These took 1.8 years to germinate

Featured Replies

What´s the longest wait you have had to germinate trachycarpus princeps seeds?

I actually abandonned these seeds and used the pot to stick and propagate cuttings of other random stuff. Maybe that influenced the dormant seeds?¿

Hi Guillermo. I have a question, my friend. How long did it take for your Princeps to germinate? I've been at it for three months now and still nothing. I look forward to your comment.

so long? I didn't know, the longest germination I've had is with Arenga Engleri, 1 year and a half

I understand, my friend. It's an eternity. I'll have to wait that long. It's a matter of luck. It's very difficult to see these seeds germinate. Many people already comment on this. And it's an important palm tree.

Yes. I actually left them out there thinking they were not going anywhere. Luckyly it was a pot that I kept watering because of the cuttings I kept putting in

Excellent friend. I'll keep learning more about these Princeps palm trees.
