Well, a while back I made a post and mistakenly thought I had bought a variegated americana but it was actually a different rare species. But yesterday I saw an actual americana at a nursery and couldn’t pass it up. It was in rough condition and I got it for only $16 (they wanted 22!). So, here’s my new spiky baby, before and after repot. IMG_9096.thumb.jpeg.82c802c7566041a3578ceaf1593f9396.jpegIMG_9099.thumb.jpeg.142ac1d71448c186cdc06f50883088e2.jpeg

I’m expecting an easy and prolific plant, though like 90% of the roots were rotten so I think it’ll be slow for a while. At least this plant won’t break on contact like some other agave I own 😤
