A nice batch of some common exotics for the garden. A monsteria deliciosa variegated, philodendron el guapo, and a bromeliad from the Amazon Guzmania vittata. I don’t buy many broms but this one was so beautiful. All will the plants will be planted in the garden after winter and will make a nice bit of colour in the garden.

Love the Philodendron el Guapo. It's one of the best-looking Philodendra. I don't have it myself, but I have Dean McDowell, which looks similar, and which is my absolute favorite to grow.

There are a number of such terrestrial Philodendra with leaves that have this similar look to them. And they all look beautiful.

Species I'm growing from seed: Verschaffeltia splendida, Chrysalidocarpus leptocheilos, Licuala grandis, Hyophorbe verschaffeltii, Johannesteijsmannia altifrons, Bentinckia condapanna, Livistona benthamii, Licuala mattanensis 'Mapu', Beccariophoenix madagascariensis, Chrysalidocarpus decaryi.

El guapo is a beauty that’s for sure. Plowmanii another great one especially the Lyn hannon var. I have only just started collecting the anthuriums and philodendrons along with other aroids, I only wish I did 25 years ago start to collect them!
