Well it seems that me wanting to diversify my plant collection is inevitable. And when I saw a group of 3 baby blue glows at Hd for only 7$ I couldn’t resist. Anyways, since they’re so small I put them in a pot for now. But how easy is this agave hybrid? Should I expect slow or fast growth? And when is it big enough to be planted and hardy for winter? Also I know these don’t tend to pup much if at all, but I guess tissue culturing leads to some abnormality hence this once grew as a triple.

Definitely pup, though not like the weedy americana.. Still have had pups off of one i purchased years ago.

Easy ..Same pups put up w/ my casual watering in this climate. Full sun = bad here,  but should be fine there.

9b+ cold? no issue for these. Think they can take a little colder than that though.

Moderate grower, for an Agave, if given a little more water than i give mine..  :greenthumb:

Nice score on the blue glows! They're beautiful Agaves. I recently planted 2 here in zone 8b/9a. I've been seeing them for a few years planted around town so I figured I'll give them a try.
