Most plants for sale in Puerto Rico have strange translations of English to Spanish common names or no name at all.

I bought several of these as they were inexpensive and popped them in the ground last fall in shade.

They went mostly dormant with our less rainy months but are happy with the wet weather.

They definitely need labels so I and others don’t step on them.

Thanks for your help!

Im guessing Anthurium pedatoradiatum.

I'll confirm; it's Anth. pedatoradiatum, narrow form.

Hope all is well with you Cindy!

Thank you so much Marie and John2468!

I love making labels.

I think I paid $3 each and have already gotten my money’s worth from enjoying them!

Anth. pedatoradiatum was the pollen donor when Steve made his rather famous Anth. 'Delta Force' hybrid.

I love learning things like this Marie!

One day I look forward to growing that one.

I have wonderful memories of time exploring your one of a kind nursery with you and Steve in Miami as well as attending the Aroid society events (before COVID) and surprise meetings at plant sales.

Glad to “chat” on occasion on PalmTalk too!

I just purchased this one and it’s still in the mail coming on Friday. Anthurium podophyllum. A species from Veracruz in tropical Mexico. The picture is of a mature one iam getting a seedling. Very similar looking.
