I intend to move in a few months south to the tropics. I will miss my current yard,  fortunately the new owner loves the variety of plantings.

You're leaving all of that?  ..Are you kidding me! ...Lol    ** ..Giving you a hard time ..Sort of..😁

Where ya' headed to next?  <  ..If you care to share. >

Outstanding doesn't do that collection justice.

The Dorstenia   ...Holy ..!!

Good luck on your next chapter and as you mentioned, i too hope the new owner fully appreciates the incredible collection they are inheriting, and doesn't try to yank this or that later..

I do too!  😀  Hopefully you will get another nice planting soon.  Sounds like you'll be able to plant even more variety.  Good to hear that the new owner won't pull everything out!

I have been told it would be worth alot of money if it was in the US.  Not sure about that, but I haven't seen any down here except for mine.

Yep, if you look at what some people on the net are ....trying.... to swindle for tiny plants ( Only a fool would fall for spending that much )  a specimen like yours would be worth $$$ to those types of people.

See the same over inflated pricing w/ larger Bursera / Torote'  specimens as well..  Been told i could sell my bigger specimens for quite a bit.  Not about to do that.  If anything, they may end up in a garden where everyone can come and enjoy them  ..For Free..  ...and i can take cuttings / seed off of to offer for sale  ..for reasonable prices.

Agree,  while i know a few people under the radar w/ some larger sized plants,  can't think of any -of that size- that i've seen w/ my own eyes in someone's yard or in any of the Bot. Gardens in CA.

Yet to see a single specimen in any of the  bigger gardens here either ..Though i know they'd survive  ..in / around PHX at least.

Like Bursera, and some other " Fat Plants "  these aren't super slow growers either ..if you know how to cultivate them.
