Looking For Sabal Minor 'Emerald Isle Giant'

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

I'm looking for seeds or seedlings of sabal minor 'Emerald Isle Giant' ecotype. Everywhere I look it seems to be not available/out of stock, curious if anyone has seen any anywhere. I would also be happy with seeds for any of the larger, hardy sabal ecotypes that I think are more common on the Carolina coast. I am in US east coast Zone 7A, so I think I have a bit more flexibility than just being stuck with the smaller, super hardy ecotypes, but not enough to have something like a Sabal Louisiana unprotected. I think an ecotype like an 'Emerald Isle Giant' has the potential to thrive here.

It's the same type as the Cape Hatteras variety.  I have that one and Beaufort County, NC varieties in three gallons.  Send me a message if interested.
