Tom here are grown outside, they don't die in winter, they lose the stem but then in February they sprout again from the ground

I just showed them to Sabine (my wife) and she was delighted

She thought she saw them in Sardinia, although I'm skeptical about that because it would have been about 12 years ago.

wow, they grow outside with you

i only have the tall wild variety, plain n varigated. these flowery short ones dont come back the next season in my area. i would have to buy them all over again then throw them away, buy n throw. but thw wild ones with the leopard flowers grow like strong weeds so i keep them contained.

4 mins from here in a town there is a house that has them flowering all yeat every yr, maybe they have a Gardner that fixes them all the time, or maybe its the same plant, so i stopped growing them

Hello Adam
here they bloom every year, I made these from rhizomes, more than 20 years ago, maybe if you add a little fertilizer they can bloom
ps (if possible, save me some seeds from your wild ones, if not too annoying for you)
