A great Australian native plant to grow in the garden. Fantastic for taking up palm trunk real estate making for a fantastic tropical look. I collected another 19 from work on the macadamia trees they are everywhere on the trees at work. With the macadamia being native a few hours north in the rainforests around Lismore area. Pretty well much one native tree that has made it big time overseas especially in Hawaii where the tree was developed for commercial production.

Yeah, I don’t see anything in that picture that would indicate Superbum.

I’ve got 3 small ones. Only one has produced a fertile leaf as you can see. Here’s a couple pics.

Beautiful, there  are some fantastic ones for sale by a collector in Australia but iam worried they become weeds and even worse cross pollinate with the local population. So iam reluctant to purchase them for that reason. Wait until your ones get bigger then put them on your palms full sun or shade they take super tough plant.

Don’t worry about we have all done it, just that some won’t admit there mistakes when they do make a mistake. Like the old saying goes mistakes are costly advice is free. I know I have made a few good ones in my day and the best part is we all learn from our mistakes. After all we are only human not robots but thats another story for ai to sort out.

Thank you happypalms. Your incredible content contribution on this Forum is amazing and your hard work is inspirational. I am not a deep grower but simply take pictures and post. My knowledge level is not as deep as it should be but I have great interest!

We all learn something new everyday and never stop learning, dont be afraid to try anything in life especially when it comes to your garden. Having a great interest is all you need, most plant people or gardeners are always willing to share their knowledge you just have to start a conversation and a gardener will chew your ear off!
