I was wondering what tree ferns or cycads I would have the best chance of growing in zone 6a. As well as any other elephant ears besides pink china, bikini tini,  and elephant ear 'polar green'. Or for that matter any tropical plant best for growing in zone 6. tree ferns and cycads I chose the black tree fern because it is hardy to zone 8a and I chose the zamia pumila (a cycad) as the hardiest cycad I could find (zone 7a). any extra help would be appreciated.

These zone and plant hardiness/tolerance assertations leads me to conclude you've researched but what some assurances from the forum. I've grown things that my neighbor struggles with. Broad generalizations might be the best fitting estimates.
