I purchased around 30 anthurium veitchii they take my cool winter well so I thought why not get a few for the nursery about 7 years time should see a few nice ones for the retail trade

Once again iam 10 years behind you in the veitchii department nice plant i only discovered anthuriums a couple of years ago my only wish is if I discovered them 20 years ago.

These are actually all different plants. They are vegetative divisions of my original plant from c 2002. I've given one away , sold 2 and still have 6-7 of varying sizes. I want to hybridize with them, but can't seem to catch the pollen shed, or the receptive phase

I just love your setup it takes years of growing to get to the jungle you have anthuriums take years of growing to learn them from what I see some of the breeders in Australia have huge mother plants I will stick to my palms for now breeding anthuriums I will leave to the experts.

Another batch of mail order veitchii they came bare rooted they don’t seem to mind being posted.
