Hi, we are getting the effects of that tropical storm that hit Florida and it’s hitting here now and my banana is out there bending and dancing around in the wind and all the leaves are tearing. Should I do something to hold the trunk up all I have is duct tape lol I have no string. Are they sturdy or not I’m worried it will snap the wind gusts here are like tornado

You need to prop the banana stool up it will fall over it’s the roots that will break it depends how big it is there is a banana industry in my area and they love it when Queensland gets hit by a cyclone pushing banana prices up when they get flattened by the winds.

The wind gusts y’all are getting up there should be no problem for bananas. The leaves will shred all to hell but the trunks will be fine. The leaves will grow back quickly. No worries!
