I encountered this plant in the forgotten corner of someone's yard on my dog walk yesterday.

It appears to have been there a while, suggesting that it's hardy in 8B. I think it would be an attractive addition to a shade garden. Can you identify?

Such a strange flower, suitable to any occasion.

Thanks again! I forgot that zantedeschia is hardy here. My garden definitely needs one.

It's a classic anyone who can should have somewhere in their landscape..  One of the grandparents had them spread around their yard when i was a kid.

Colorful varieties might be a little less tough compared to the standard white variety bit it will even grow here ...That's far tougher than i'd have ever thought, lol.

In front of a house in the neighborhood..  Thought i'd taken a better shot of the entire bed but guess i didn't.
