Not even a chainsaw can kill this weed of a tree I cut it down into pieces and it’s still alive growing new shoots a very beautiful tree in flower but dont  be fooled by its beautiful flowers it’s a weed true and true in my soil I have even seen as a street growing in the cracks in the pavement it’s that tough with a tap root that grows to China you can’t pull it out once it gets it feet in the ground as a seedling it has become my number one enemy in the garden and shall remain that way until it’s eliminated it may get a new best friend in the form of a herbicide if it continues to get out of control it throws millions of seeds around like confetti at a wedding o u t spells out you must go.

I did love them and it was one of the first trees I put in my garden 20 years back I always noticed it from up the back of my garden saying wow every time it flowered then it just started to become a weed slowly in time it was germinating in the bush way to much I just got out of control so it had to go now iam still weeding it out.

Sounds like my african tulip tree.  Beautiful flowers but produce MILLIONS of seeds w/sprout up EVERYWHERE.  In pots in the yard, in pots in the shade house in the ground EVERY WHERE.  I HATE IT but the wife loves it and so it says and I fight the seedlings.  Better than fighting w/her.  LOL
