Yellow tips is usually a Magnesium deficiency.  This is fairly common, I'd give it about a half handful of Magnesium Sulfate.  Just sprinkle evenly in about a 3-5 foot diameter circle.  It also has a bit of random splotchiness, to maybe some "palm" type fertilizer is a good idea too.

Make sure you aren't overwatering it, sometimes deficiencies are due to root rot.

Just curious but it appears you have it planted in the ground.  How long have you had the plant?

Been in the ground since last month. I had it since last november, though.

@DTS if it is a recent planting, the sago is probably trying to grow new roots and stealing nutrients from the leaves.  Keep in mind that Cycas Revoluta needs good draining soil and won't like being excessively wet or densely organic.  This is true of most cycads, some are more tolerant than others.

In MI zone 6b it's an annual in the ground.  They are more-or-less leaf hardy to 20F or so, but won't survive 0F.  I know a few survived the Austin TX Zilker Botanical Garden serious freeze a few years ago, but those were big plants and many died.  In zone 6B I would just keep it in a pot, they can live there for decades.

Oh yeah, I know it's toast if I don't protect it, but that's what I'm gonna do. I only got the idea from this guy in Indianapolis who has one.
