Sep Biennial gathering place is suffering

Hopefully 4 M is enough time to simmer the tensions and clean up the mess a bit. All the rioting is around Noumea. Bridge to the grande south is out. The footage is truly sad and loss of life on both sides. The country is beautiful but with a few social/political issues not just confined to NC but many places in the world have unrest between indigenous and the ruling empires. Its complex. Most rioters are young people wanting equality but they surely not going about it the right way. The army is there and curfews in place. Let’s hope tonight they get the situation under control. Dozens and dozens of businesses have been burnt leaving thousands without livelihoods. Bloodshed in Paradise.
