    I really like many Australian plants but the soil here is too alkaline for some of them, so I have to keep those in an acid-loving plant mix in pots. Ceratopetalum gummiferum 'Alburys Red' did well here outdoors this winter. Looking forward to the red sepals later this year.

    Nice one we planted around a dozen of them on my property the Aubrey red also the they grow wild on land and area where I live the good old Xmas bush wanted by the floral trade selling for top dollar around Xmas time so plant a stack more they go from cuttings and aerial layered your in for a treat in few years time with the flowers
