Now that I live in a zone 10A I want to grow Plumeria.

Someone suggest some varieties and where to buy them...

We’ll just googled it Plumeria can grow in Texas

Plumeria are pretty reliably hardy in zone 9B and up. I live in 9A and they are not reliably hardy here.

My favorite has always been Kauka Wilder. Its an old heirloom variety

Hilo Beauty is a lovely Red. also an old variety

I don;t know where you'd get them around Brownsville...there is a lummeria nursery tee in Florida called Florida Colors. They mail order. You canals buy cuttings online from many places like Etsy, eBay....

Here in FL they are sold at a lot of nurseries, but to get specific varieties, you need to look at a dedicated Plumeria nursery

Plumeria does great down there. Here is one in 2020 before those dumb freezes. Will be back to their former glory soon I hope.

I've seen both various P. rubra cultivars and P. obtusa. The flea markets (pulgas) actually have a pretty good selection, try 77 Flea Market in north Brownsville or the Alamo flea market. Helps if you speak Spanish

Jungle jacks plumeria

They are based in California but I think they have a facility right there in Brownsville (ramireno). They have hundreds of varieties, you could browse there site and then slip down to the facility? I'd seen they had an open house a couple of years ago,so it might be like plant delights where it's only open to the public occasionally. I have 2 dwarf varieties from them, divine and sun splash. Super happy with them. Mine are in pots, you have a few more options :greenthumb:

Plumeria rubra  cerise good luck there easy to grow and propagate just break a piece off let the end dry and plant it or you can just put it straight into some soil in a container or in the ground there that easy
