A hearty second to Musa velutina. A great small ornamental banana that is hardy and well-behaved. A fun fact on this one is that the bananas will self-peel when they’re ripe…and they are delicious, excepting that the seeds are like buckshot so it takes talent to eat it successfully without breaking your teeth on them.
