Not sure the name of this iris but its very common and easy to grow makes a great border tough dry tolerant has the potential to be a weed in my area I just simply pull them out a great landscaping plant

Hi. It is Dietes grandiflora and it is native to South Africa.

A lot of South Africa’s plants grow well here in my climate

Yes, I see that there is an Encephalartos ferox next to the Dietes.

Yes another great plant from Africa it flowered for the first time this year it only took 20 years not that long I suppose 😄
