All NorCall members,

The Byron Hot Springs has a large number of palms (primarily Washingtonia and Phoenix species) that are over 120 years old.

The owner/developer is interested in the health and well-being of all of these palms.

Is anyone interested in working with me to do a complete assessment of trees on the property?

Some of the items to deal with are:

1) GPS siting of each of the trees

2) Assessing the health of many of the older ones. Many have been torched/painted/etc. by vandals. We need to determine if there is a future of any kind for them.

3) Movability of the palms if possible

4) Finally, any value they may have. Some of them are very very old and large.
