Hi all,

While traveling the new england states I often saw this massive plant. Can someone let me know it's name?

It could be a species of Hydrangea, could use some closeups to make sure.

Agree.. Could be Hydrangea, possibly Hydrangea paniculata " Pink Diamond ".  A few other H. paniculata cultivars produce pink blushed, or solid white flowers as well.

Thanks to both of you. I was thinking of some kind of hydrangea too but was wondering about the massive flowers, small leaves and the size of the plant.

In spring I need to check the german nurseries to get a bigger plant.

Thanks again.

My first thought was also Hydrangea, but could it also be a Syringa (lilac) cultivar?

As I had one Syringia in my front yard I would exclude this option. The plant I was asking for looks different.

But thanks for your proposal.
