If you want a relatively fast growing tree that’s drought tolerant look no further than the kaffir plum it makes great shade fast growing out a record breaker but will give good shade in time this one is 20 years old growing in  black sandy sandstone soil it’s rock city at my place pick up a plant from the greenhouse walk around and think there’s a spot only to throw the shovel in and hit rock oh that’s right that’s why there is a space there then half hour later after looking we’re to plant it only to return the plant to the greenhouse and try something else but the miffing will make a great conapy just not overnight a nice tree with a tropical look
