Anyone growing it, especially from seed? So far, I have failed to successfully germinate. I'm trying again, this time in the dome with bottom heat.

Not growing here ( won't survive ) but  if it is like many plants of similar soil preference, would start seed in a soil mix that is at least 70-80% sand / grit, mirroring soil conditions seen in habitat,  rather than a traditional soil mix.

If unsuccessful from seed, Calscape lists numerous nurseries in/ around the Bay Area which supposedly offer plants.  Can supposedly be started from cuttings taken in winter as well.

Thanks, this is sound advice and I will attempt again with a very sandy mix for perfect drainage.
