I was out afield and saw this fine specimen towering above a wall. I’d estimate it at about 17 feet tall overall.

Spotted this happy family in the neighbourhood the other day. Based on my own height, the red gate must be ~1m70.

Wow, Dave, that first one you posted looks to me like Cousin It or the monster from the Warner Bros. cartoon "Hair Raising Hare"...crazy! And man, oh man, that group in Mexico (also Bubba's #3) are something else. They can really look like palms from a distance...Just goes to show, not to take for granted some of these "houseplants" and the forms they can take in nature, left to their own devices!
