The past vortex greatly affected parts of Texas by damaging palm trees and tropical plants. my Mandeville was in a shelter at the time there was a heater in the shelter, but it could not keep up with the vortex and therefore froze in the shelter damaging them. If anyone got any ideas how i can help them recover and please notify me. I will keep on updating the progress of recovery.

To clarify, it was in a shed I had a thermometer which recorded a low temperature of 30F but, it was freezing for at least 12 hours strait.

Sorry to hear that, as long as the roots and lower stems remained mostly unfrozen it should come back when warmer temperatures arrive in the spring. In the meantime, I recommend not cutting anything off yet, check for root rot or fungus, if possible, keep them in a consistently warmer spot and bring them outside when there are random Texas warm spells, you should also be cautious in your watering because cold wet soil can lead to, as mentioned before, root rot and fungus. Wish you well 👍
