I live on the east coast so will not be able to take you up on this but have several flowering as well as edible gingers. I have never heard of "Lemon ginger" and a  quick search shows nothing. Can you point me to some info or a possible source?

Unfortunately I’m not sure which species it is and only have seen it at one nursery. It must be a rare plant.
