A beautiful bloomer native to coastal areas of northern Colombia. The flowers are yellow to orange. This bloomer is located at the Kampong in Coconut Grove from Sir Riffle’s book:FB7D99F3-391E-4C14-AF57-645DFFB38964.thumb.jpeg.1cfeba560fc7a6d0411c381f4de09226.jpeg

I have one maybe 8 feet tall in the ground and a couple in pots,  but no blooms yet. I like the bright yellow buttercup sort of flowers on trees I have seen.

The leaves look a bit like those of Tamarind.

I will snap a photo when I remember but too dark right now.

It has a close relative in the dry Chaco of Argentina, B. bonariensis (actually both are now in the genus Gonopterodendron).
