Seeds would be good, ..not much showing on the innertubes.  (I don't even know what season seeds might be available.)

Supposedly, this plant is present in several SoCal public gardens, including Fullerton Arboretum.  Thanks for any info !

Thanks, Perry !  SM Growers has an informative entry for this plant but it is not listed  in their 'Plant Index for February'.

All the best to you and Benecia.  :)

If you haven't yet,  might contact San Marcos directly to see when they might list it ( imagine these would be offered later in the spring- fall when growing )  They might also know who else to contact for getting a hold of some seed or cuttings.  Ken ( .. Fastfeat, here on the forum ) might be someone else to reach out to via facebook or other members still active here who talk to him regularly )

Need to contact San Marcos myself regarding another, even weirder succulent Composite ( from Mexico as well ) they supposedly grow.

Looking at the description from San Marcos, a tad curious about this plant myself since, in their description, there is a blip about the plant being un- fazed after experiencing 117F and dry air during a heat wave in a garden in San Diego.. Interesting considering these grow up in the higher elevations in the mountains in Sinaloa near Mazatlan, maybe as far north as southern Sonora.. Some other stuff from roughly the same part of western Mex. does well here, and even down in Tucson ..let alone apparently  thriving in many areas out there.
