Glad I took pics of this thing when I did because it's been recently cut down. I imagine it was because it was blocking view for people trying to turn onto ocean blvd. Really wish they had kept the main trunk, would have loved to see it with all the pups gone

That's a shame. I agree with you that they should have removed only the pups. Maybe then it wouldn't have obstructed visibility.

Tragic...and sadly I've seen it here in Jacksonville as well.  This one was removed and replaced with a cluster of Christmas palms :floor:.

Ironically it was not blocking any views and was kept nicely trimmed.

Such a shame. They had much better options, including my personal favorite...

Yea I must say, I was shocked and saddened when it was gone on my drive home the other day. Not the biggest fan of sagos but this one should've stayed. Figured I'd put this post up as a memorial.
