I have fallen in love with this plant.   I'm going to try to propogate them by cutting.

Does anyone know the best time to take cuttings?  There's not much info on this plant online, but for general Mahonias I've read either spring or late summer.

I have one growing erectly from a single stalk, and the smaller ones I bought this year are "suckering", having multiple growth points.  Do I need to clip the single growth point or do they "sucker" on their own?

Thanks.

Visited the local Garden today where I buy these, they have a couple nice specimens in the ground.
