I grew it from seed last year (around May). It exploded through the summer and around November it shed its leaves I took it in the garage for dormancy. This April I took it back outside and was a bit slow to “wake up”. A family member stuck the tomato plant in there (whoops) and I wasn’t expecting it to wake up at all. Today I had a nice surprise!

I will get it separated from the tomato and get it into a better-draining medium.

Great news that its coming back.  I posted on my Adansonia digitata which was struggling to open the leaf buds in mid June, and it still isn't much further along with fully opened leaves still being  days away.  Everything in my garden is late this year so it's hard to gauge.  Since mine is in a prime piece of real estate in the yard and has been in the ground for a few years, the temptation is strong to dig it up, pot it and give the spot to something else.  Glad you got some good news with your Baobob!
