Looking for Cyrtostachys renda and Wodyetia bifurcata

Hello all, I’m looking for Cyrtostachys renda and Wodyetia bifurcata seedlings or fresh seeds that can be shipped to Canada. Thanks!

I had a huge bag full of fresh Wodyetia brought to me this Spring and I let them sit on the deck and in two days they all disappeared.  I kept assuming that I would see seedlings popping up everywhere this summer, but not a one.  I wonder if whatever animal (squirrels I assume) snatches them actually eats them.  Maybe that's silly.  Why would they take them if not to use as a food source?  To play catch? :D

Anyways, I hope somebody can source these for you before the weather gets too cold to make shipping them, especially Cyrtostachys, practical.

They take quite a while to germinate (months) so you may yet see some pop up.

Sorry no Cyrtostachys renda, but I do have seed and seedlings of Wodyetia bifurcata. That said, I don't know if you've bought from USA before but it's very expensive to ship to Canada. And then there's additional charges that get added on to UPS or Postal fees you'll have to pay when package arrives. I've heard additional fees of from $5.00 for postal to $30.00 for UPS. My website is only set up for calculating shipping within the USA but you can see Wodyetia listing  on the website here https://lab-14.myshopify.com/products/copy-of-z-r-20-sabal-palmetto-seeds-known-as-cabbage-palm-palmetto-cabbage-palmetto-blue-palmetto-carolina-palmetto-common-palmetto-swamp-cabbage-and-sabal-palm-1

In a box large enough to ship seedlings you could also get other palm seeds so you might want to look around the last several pages in the online catalog. Some of the seeds currently listed as back order will be available in the next couple days/weeks as this years seeds for those particular palms that only fruit in fall are collected. Chamaedorea cataractarum and more Adonidia merrillii will be ripe very soon and I'll be picking Acoelorrhaphe wrightii  as soon as it stops raining this weekend. I don't currently have any seedlings listed on the website due to the complexity of combining shipping costs of plants & seed.

Thanks NOT A TA. I’m not sure live plants are allowed to be shipped to Canada without paperwork. Have you successfully shipped seedlings to Canada before?

Thanks again!
