Guest speaker is Hugh Kunze, giving a presentation on the native palms of Florida as well as talks on Fairchild and Montgomery gardens. If there's time, a photo slide show on our recent Tamborine visit.

Don't miss this one.

Great meeting last night with Hugh showing us slides of his visit with Phil around Florida. Palms in habitat and the amazing Fairchild and Montgomery gardens and a bit of Florida itself. Hugh didn't do too badly in the raffles I might add.

A lot of discussion on how members palms are holding up after our recent drops in temp.

These meetings are still the best place to be to get all the info you need on palms and cycads.

Anybody interested in the Brisbane Palm and Cycad society, please contact myself through this forum, via this thread or PM if you like. For upcoming events, how to join etc. etc.

Next meeting will be great because the ratpack are on with the Darwin trip being presented. 22nd of this month.

Could the moderator be able to remove the date in red in the title of this thread please ?
