I got this guy as anthurium cirinoe and dont believe that it is a correct name can someone please help

I'm attaching a picture of an Anthurium cirinoi we were given by Rick Cirino himself.  Yours look to be the same.

So this is a real name? Thanks for your reply.  Yours is perfect,  I lay down snail bait but they still nibble on the leaf

Yep - I believe Marie nailed it as she always does. At least that is what I have been calling mine. I always feel a special connection when I have a plant named after a person I have met. And this indeed was named after Rick, and IMO, one of the nicest, and most easily grown (under the right conditions) of all the spectacular "velvet" Anthuriums.
