Since the meeting is usually on the first Wednesday of each month, and the first Wed. of this month is tommorrow the 4th of July, will the meeting be rescheduled?

Thanks!

Nevermind palm freaks, I got a response via email...  July meeting was cancelled, next meeting date is 8-1-07 at 7:30 at Mounts Botanical.

I will be there to discuss Palmfest 2008 which, as I understand, The Palm Beach Society will host.  All who are interested, please attend!

:)

That is interesting.  We just had a board meeting and the 2008 Palm Fest was not discussed.  Where did you hear we would be hosting?

It was my understanding that PACSOF has a running list of the different branches and that PB county was up...  I didn't mean to make it sound like you were being made responsible for something ya'll weren't interested in. I Guess if ya'll didn't want to do anything, nothing is ever required...  I've never been to a Palmfest before and it just sounded like fun to me!

I'll forward a copy of the email I sent to the addresses I could find...  Maybe you could help to forward it to the appropriate people.  I would happy to help plan that event with some help of a couple others!

:)

I forwarded your note on to the President of our Society.  Not sure when we would have it next year.  May is out as that is the biennial and October starts sale season.

I've only been to one and it was indeed fun but timing is everything.

Oh yeah, my birthday is August 2, the day after the meeting...  I wouldn't mind if the society showered me with free rare palms!  HAH!  :P

Sorry, but that ain't gonna happen! :D

You are welcome to come to the meeting.
