Heliconia in California

For those of us in California what variety of Heliconia will grow here.  I have only seen Schiediana grown here.  I have that in my yard and it is pretty much flawless year round.  It blooms on the stalks that are 2 years old then seeds.  I am looking for any other variety that may do well here. LMK your experience.  Thanks.  Jeff
