I've always liked these and had an enormous specimen in my garden at my old shop, and recently I got "back into" them and now am working on a collection.

Does anybody else enjoy them?

I have two that I am not sure of the name. I'd appreciate if you guys could get me a name for these two please. Thanks!

Here's one of my new "instant favorites."   Panther.  Just so much awesomeness going on in these leaves!

Simple easy to grow tropical looking plant.... strikes easily from stem cuttings....2 or 3 inches is plenty. I grow them outdoors in my climate. They will grow in the poorest of soils and require very little care. Known as 'dumb woman's cane'.... supposedly a gossipy talkative woman could be silenced ( yeah right ! ) by rubbing the sap of the plant on the lips and tongue rendering one speechless..... Will grow in deep shade, but I've found them to thrive in dappled shade / high light conditions.

Has anybody tried to plant Dieffenbachias in the ground in zones 9b or 10a?
