Got some seeds of this interesting plant in the mail and have started the usual regiment of soaking them as I do all seeds. Does anyone have any advice or experience with this plant or starting it from seed? Any info is appreciated.

Best recommendation I can make regarding these, Keep them moist as they germinate, but not wet ...and warm. Well draining potting soil should be fine. Don't think they need anything specific.  Can't say how long it should take but I'd  assume you should start seeing them pop within a few weeks this time of year. Have heard conficting info regarding how long seed remains good after ripening so I hope the seeds you received are as fresh as possible.. 

Once they get going, keep them warm thru the winter.. Smaller plants are more cold sensitive than older specimens, or is what I'd been told. Quite a fast grower when happy. 

Good luck, look forward to some updates once they start germinating.
