I'm in southern California and can't find any rooted Plumeria Obtusas anywhere.  Any leads would be appreciated.  Ideally I'd like to find a 15 gallon specimen.

If you haven't already.. Might contact Jungle Jacks in Vista, Plumerias By the Sea ( Cardiff ) Plumeria Palace and Upland Nursery ( Orange County ) for starts. Might also message the So. Cal Plumerria Society. May be some private sellers they could put you in contact with.

    I have one 15g white Singapore and several 5g white and yellow Singapore (Mele Pa Bowman).  Please PM me if you're interested. I'm in Diamond Bar, CA area.

    Not to cut in but Chris ( Jordan)  if you have room to spare, i'd highly suggest looking into Mele Pa Bowman also.. Just as nice as standard Singapore, but has more yellow in the flowers..  think they're slightly larger too..  Just as fragrant..  Can't go wrong with both.   Wish someone local had a specimen i could get a couple cuttings from.. Great Plumeria cultivar..

    Definitely agree with you after growing both species. As for the citrus scent, Mele Pa Bowman is just as strong as Obtusa, if not more. It's somewhat leggy, but much hardier and more suitable to SoCal weather than Obtusa.

    Have heard a few somewhat differing stories.. Supposedly was a seedling discovered by Donald Angus who'd asked Jim Little, a master Plumeria Guru himself, if the plant was a true yellow Singapore, as white was the only known " Singapore"..   Anyway, the original seedling  was found beneath a standard Singapore in the yard of a kamahina elderly woman who only had the Singapore and another Hawaiian classic variety, "Celadine", in her yard.  Was named after her..

    Here's a picture of the flowers, taken when i was living in Bradenton Florida, while attending the open house of a well known Plumeria grower in Homestead, May 2015.
