I bought a few of these to try in my very shady highland garden. They are spectacular!

I think I might have tried these before and they reverted to just green foliage. Is that possible? It would be wonderful if this a stable cultivar.

Stromanthe sanguinea 'Triostar' seems very stable, I have never seen any revert to all green. about 10 years ago there was another plant available in the nursery trade here that looked very similar, Ctenanthe oppenheimeiana 'Tricolor'. It would stay stable for a couple years then slowly revert to all green. Once it went green it never grew any variegated leaves again.

Eric, thank you! I was hoping you might respond. I think that is what happened. Here it is impossible to determine cultivar names. This Stromanthe sanguinea Triostar here is called "Pluma de La India" Indian Feather in english.
