Some creatures are eating my Gerbera daisy, lilies flowers, and all new bamboo shoot. Squirrels, possum, raccoons visit my garden day and night. Last year none of these plants were damaged except bamboo shoots.

I do love wildlife but man they can be a pest sometimes.   Those little devils are so cute so I have to live with there bad behavior.  I guess I I just needed to VENT!

It's the Squirrels!  I just caught a big male chewing the flowers off!  :rage: :P  They have tons of food outside so why they find my flowers fun to chew I don't know. LOL!

The ones in the sun they don't seem to care for. Those are palm seedlings I dug up in the middle of the pathway.

My sister lives in Portland. She leaves out food for the squirrels they prefer. They leave her bird feeders and plants alone.

I think my squirrels are spoiled rotten. Every day They get feed, unshelled mixed nuts, and shell peanuts all year long. They sometimes go after my tree fern leaves to line there nest. I have at least 6-12 of them coming every day. They are fun and entertaining to watch.

I have a squirrel infestation and they drive me crazy. They constantly dig holes in my pots and beds, they burry tree nuts which sprout everywhere! They rip out baby palms and eat the heart, they rip the hair off furry trunks for nests!

Brad, I use gravel in all my pots to keep them from digging in them. So far it's working. Garden beds are another thing I can't control. Yeah, I get peanuts and walnuts sprouting everywhere too. And they do like furry trunks that's for sure. They haven't eaten any other plants thank goodness.
