Any one else growing this BOP type?

Does well here in southern Caifornia and around Hilo, HI.

Yes. I grew a lot of them in Guatemala from certified seed about 12 years ago from the Kirstenbosch NBG. Lovely color, great plant. One turned out rather special. Two photos when I was still growing it, and one from this year at the friend’s where I left it in Guat. I have not heard of another sport like this, although there are several variegated orange clones, as well as of the other species.

I also got a partially achlorophyllous plant from the same seed batch, with pewter-colored leaves. Was a hassle to grow since it burned when the light was just a bit too bright. Don’t know its fate, but have some photos of it around somewhere.

I grow it at our house on the coast of Michoacan. Does well in the hot humid climate.
