These bromeliads almost glow and this is a somewhat cloudy/gloomy day. I have been bitten by the bromeliad bug for some time now and try to use them wherever possible.

I do have several other colors in production now. I have a generic red, Raspberry, and Iced Tea. So I will be adding these soon to my landscapes. What I do not like about A.blanchetianas is as the plants mature the leaves elongate and become thinner in width. This allows them to whip around in the wind. I have even found leaves tied in a loose knot from being blown around.

The pool is my pool at the beach.
