Anyone has experience with Monstera Deliciosa in part day sun or full sun? I have one in a pot that faces west and right now because of the winter sun it doesnt get any sun exposure at all (blocked by a large hedge) but in the summer it will get afternoon sun. I've seen Monsteras in Hawaii and Panama growing in deep/partial jungle shade and in the sun. I'm in coastal Los Angeles.

They grow here in Adelaide in full sun if watered regularly. They can yellow a little though.

Why not grow it in the ground? I grow split leaf philodren (a close relative) in ground with partial shade, and it looks great!

I grew monstera deliciosa in partial sun in inland CA and it grew just fine. Make sure you give it plenty of water though, or it will burn. In coastal Southern California, I imagine it would thrive outdoors in full sun.

Hey NorCalKing, I have 3 growing in the ground and one in a pot. The 3 in the ground are in shaded/mostly shade areas, the container one is pretty large and heavy so moving it around is not an option. I think I'm just gonna leave it where it is and let it get sun. Thanks for all the replies, guys!
