Prefer Syagrus amara or botryophora but will settle for romanzoffiana at this point. I have all kinds of rarer seeds to trade or cash. PM me please.

Ah...going to try some muley's huh Bryant? .... wished I lived closer we could practice technique. Do you have the link to that long thread on hybridization?

 

Best thread ever on PT for hybridization techniques.... it should be saved for future reference by admin.... IMO.

Thanks David! I have done some years ago but sold them! Back when I was at UF, I  learned quite a bit about crossing corn in an attempt to create "orange and blue" corn and it's essentially the same process (palms are a little easier to manage actually). I have bad timing and haven't thought about it much in the past as I am really not a fan of the mules. I'm more into experimenting now as I have kept 20-25 larger B Odorata and definitely don't need anymore seeds.

I have some true B. capitata/Syagrus schizophylla popping up now but was wanting to cross B. Odorata with something more unusual than the normal queen.
